WORKSHOPS
The core of who I am was instilled in me by my Mother who began her teaching journey in a one-room schoolhouse during the lean years following the Great Depression. Upon returning from my studies in PARIS, I began my teaching journey creating Couture curriculum for the College level Fashion/Art student.
I am passionate about keeping intricate handcraft techniques alive. Over the past 15 years, I have worked with over 300 students. I am currently offering workshops to both educational institutions and individual groups as time and enrollment allows.

Artisan Technical Training
I learned my craft from Master Embroiderers within the artisanal tradition of the PARIS Couture. This taught me the value of working one-on-one to pass on intricate hand skills. Students must be very proficient in hand sewing and will work with advanced materials such as linen, silk, gold, raphia, beads, crystals, etc. The tambour hook will be introduced at Level I.
I am happy to meet with you to assess your skill level and suggest a path. Please email me if you're interested in this workshop.
All materials, equipment, and instructions are included.
