ABOUT
"Do small things with great love!"
I was trained at the couture embroidery house LESAGE, Paris. LESAGE is part of CHANEL’S Metier d’ Art acquisitions. This experience reconnected me to my love for unique textiles and fine detail. Soaking up the atmosphere in Paris reminded me that small touches of romance are important in our everyday lives. A cup of hot chocolate in a small sweets shop, browsing through history at a bookiniste, or simply buying flowers at one of the flower stalls are fond remembrances from my time in Paris. Small luxuries like these make every day a work of art.

Growing up in a rural setting I am always drawn to naturalistic forms and textures such as trees, leaves, and flowers. Later influences stem from the study of dance, costume, Art History, and a substantial amount of time taking in the museums of Paris.

The common threads woven through my art are curvilinear forms, small intricate details, a sense of romantic, timeless beauty and a respect for heritage and vintage authenticity.
